Cultural Centre – Tla’amin First Nation

Cultural Centre & Traditional Foods Processing Facility

The Ɂəms ʔayɛ Cultural Centre, also known as “Our House,” is a landmark cultural and community hub for the Tla’amin Nation. It marks the first purpose-built cultural house in Tla’amin territory since the Great Fire of 1918 and brings to life a project over two decades in the making. Created as a place for learning, celebration, and community connection, the facility provides space for cultural programming, traditional food preparation, language revitalization, and the preservation of Tla’amin history and teachings. The project reflects a long-term vision to create a lasting community asset that will serve future generations while supporting the Nation’s cultural and institutional goals
